Terms of Use

Last updated: 1 November 2026

These terms cover the Islet app for Windows and this website. By using them, you agree to these terms.

Licence

Islet's code is free and open source under the MIT License, which governs your use of the code. The Islet guide PDF is © 2026 Gopinath, all rights reserved.

Using the app

Islet changes some Windows notification settings while it runs, and can add hooks to Claude Code and Codex. You can turn these off in the app.

When you press Allow in the notch, you are approving that action for your coding agent. Read the request first, because you are responsible for what you approve.

The installer isn't code-signed, so Windows may warn about it or block it.

Other services

Optional features rely on services such as Spotify, lrclib.net, Open-Meteo and your calendar provider. Their own terms apply, and we don't control whether they stay available or accurate.

Islet isn't affiliated with Apple, Microsoft, Spotify, Anthropic or OpenAI. Their names belong to their owners.

This website

Don't misuse the site or try to inflate the "I'm interested" count. Any music or other third-party material on the site belongs to its owners and isn't covered by the MIT License.

No warranty

Islet and this site are provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. To the extent the law allows, the author isn't liable for any loss or damage from using them. Nothing here removes rights you have under law that can't be waived.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do. For questions, open an issue on GitHub. See also the Privacy Policy.
